Senior Center Services
The Wakulla County Senior Center provides Wakulla County residents over sixty (60) years of age to meet and share their life experiences. This social interaction encourages and enables them to live independently with dignity in the security of their home. Senior Center activities include:
- Morning snacks and lunch prepared and cooked daily
- Health support screenings and information
- Education and technology training
- Recreation including music and travel
- Engagement in community
The Senior Center delivers meals-on-wheels to homebound seniors.

In Home Services
Homemaker service: We have direct service workers that go into the seniors home to help with any house keeping that needs to be done.
Personal Care: This service provides personal care to seniors that may need assistance with bathing, showering, and grooming.
Companionship: This service is managed by the senior center to offer our seniors someone to visit with at their home. We also offer a sitters list which includes individuals ( not employed by the senior center) that can sit with the seniors and provide companionship.

Transportation
The Wakulla County Senior Citizens Council, Inc. manages the Coordinated Transportation System within our county. The Wakulla County Coordinated Transportation System was established to provide transportation to the transportation disadvantaged citizens of Wakulla County regardless of age.
Transportation offers access to health care, local shopping, Senior Center, and other life sustaining activities.

Before & After School Program
The Before & After School Program is managed by the Wakulla County Senior Citizens Council, Inc. We provide childcare to all three elementary schools before school & after school. We also provide a summer program. This program begins at 6:30am. and ends at 6:30pm. on school days and during summer break.
